UHD Dining continues to bring new flavors, returning favorites, and fresh dining experiences to campus. From seasonal pizzas and handcrafted sandwiches to customizable quesadillas and homemade posole, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
This week, we're also inviting the UHD community to recognize the dining employees who make their campus experience special through the THX:) For Making My Day nomination program.

Specials and Promotions by Dining Concept
Slices | Haunted Honey Pizza
There's still time to enjoy October's featured Haunted Honey Pizza! This seasonal pizza combines pepperoni, bacon, jalapeños, and a drizzle of hot honey for a sweet and spicy flavor. Available through Oct. 31.
Slices also offers pizza by the slice, whole pizzas, and slice-and-drink combinations.
Created with Love | Build Your Own Quesadilla
Build Your Own Quesadillas are back through Oct. 23! Guests can customize their quesadillas with their choice of cheese, protein, fillings, and sides.
New to the protein selection is Fajita Flank Steak, giving guests another option when creating their own quesadilla.
Created with Love concepts are also being offered at Sci-Tech Cafe, bringing rotating menu selections to another campus location.
Handcrafted | New Ciabatta Sandwiches
Handcrafted is introducing two freshly made sandwiches:
- Caprese Ciabatta: Fresh mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, pesto aioli, and a balsamic drizzle served on ciabatta bread.
- Italian Ciabatta: Layers of prosciutto, salami, pepperoni, and provolone cheese, topped with crisp lettuce, tomatoes, onions, banana peppers, and pesto aioli on ciabatta bread.
Guests can also explore Handcrafted's customizable sandwiches and wraps.
Gator Grill | Everyday Favorites and Weekly Specials
Gator Grill continues to offer a variety of meal options, including:
- Chicken Tender Basket: Four crispy chicken tenders, fries, and a fountain drink.
- Grill Slammies Combo: Choice of burger or sandwich with fries and a fountain drink.
- Wednesday Special: Hot dog served with fries and a fountain drink.
Gator Wings | Four Flavors
Choose from Buffalo Hot, Lemon Pepper, BBQ, or Sweet Chili wings. The Sweet Chili flavor, originally featured during the Gator Bite Café Grand Opening, remains part of the wing lineup.
Soup of the Day | Thursday Posole
UHD Dining has been offering a rotating Soup of the Day, bringing warm and comforting options to the campus community.
Starting this month, Thursdays will feature homemade posole prepared by UHD Dining employee Nohemi.
This traditional Mexican soup brings a personal touch to campus dining and highlights the culinary talents of the employees who serve our UHD community.
Daily Hot Plate Update
The rotating Daily Hot Plate lineup will be reduced to two plate offerings on these designated days:
- Tuesday | Spaghetti Plate
- Friday | Gator Soul Platter
Starbucks | Fall Seasonal Favorites
Fall flavors are in season at Starbucks, with seasonal favorites from the national lineup including the Pumpkin Spice Latte, Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai, and Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino.
Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to check with the UHD Starbucks team for available seasonal beverages and current promotions. Availability may vary by location.
