We’re nearing the end of the season for both the Men’s Basketball and the Men’s Volleyball teams! Don’t miss your opportunity to see the Gators in action. Their last games will take place the first week of November.

The Men’s Basketball team has been performing well; however, the team recently encountered their first two losses of the season against heavyweights Rice University and Texas A&M University. This puts them at a record of 2–2 for the season, with two more games left.

On October 15, the Men’s Volleyball team played against Stephen F. Austin, where they lost. Their regular season record is currently 2–0; their overall record is 2–4.

The Women’s Volleyball team rallied to pull off an impressive reverse sweep against Lone Star College-Kingwood, winning three consecutive set after losing the first two. The preceding week, during Homecoming, the Lady Gators met their first loss of the season against Lone Star College-Houston North, but clearly the team’s morale and cohesion have remained high. Their season record now stands at 4–1.

On top of their most recent win, the Lady Gators have something new to celebrate: Captain Aaliyah Norfleet won a spot as one of the 2026-2027 Bayou’s Best. Click HERE to read our recap to learn more about this honor
